Loving God, loving each other and loving the world...
What is a Community Group?

A Community Group (CG) is a group of church people who meet to study the Bible, pray, share, and support each other from week to week, over the course of the year.

The name suggests a few things!  Firstly, the Groups exist to promote a sense of ‘community’ in our church.  Church services are essential, BUT they aren’t always the easiest places to build relationships and share life’s challenges with each other.  However, these great things can happen when you take part in a Community Group!

But best of all, it is in the process of studying and exploring the Bible together, that God’s great Word can address us in our struggles and difficulties, and continue to bring the benefits of the message of Jesus into our lives.

How do I join a Community Group?

Either put your name down on one of the sign-up sheets which are in the foyer at the start of each school year…

… or simply take a peek at the CG area on the notice board in the church foyer, and phone/ speak to the Coordinator for a Group you're interested in…

… or speak with one of our pastors, Mike Fischer at mike@eastfreobaptist.com, or Adam Long at adam@eastfreobaptist.com
